Pros: Easy set up/high quality/ USB & RCA outputs
Cons: nothing yetAll I did was buy it at the store, plug it in the USB on my PC, and Vista went out and found a driver for it right away. I was up and running in less than a minute.I have not opened the bundled software that comes with the unit. I use Adobe Audition and after switching the mic input and speaker output settings I was recording vocals.I bought this mixer to replace the need for a $600 Marantz digital recorder I'd been using. Not only did this replace it adequately, I feel it also has a bit better sound to it. It probably helps that I'm recording straight into my computer now rather than somewhere else and transferring it. I've been using it daily for a week and am very pleased with the purchase.Another thing this helped me out with is that I can send the audio to a 2nd unit through the RCA outputs on the back. I do daily voice work remotely so now I don't have to disconnect the mic from the digital remote studio, connect it to the digital recorder, then re connect it to the studio. It's just connected to the M-Audio mixer and that's where it stays.more »
