* Placement Opportunities
Employers who support the course through our placement unit also sponsor generous prizes to our students.
* Undergraduate Prizes
A number of students take advantage of the student exchange programme which allows them to undertake a period of study at an overseas University through Erasmus and Socrates. Overseas placements have also been established.
* Exchange Opportunities
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland currently recognise the placement experience as part of an integrative training contract and this will offer RGU graduates the opportunity to qualify as Chartered Accountants 12 months earlier.
Students on the Accounting and Finance course undertake a common foundation year with students who are studying on the more general business courses. This allows students to acquire a basic business understanding before developing their specialist knowledge within an Accounting and Finance context.
