Global Threat Condition

March 10 ,2009: Microsoft has released their March 2009 Security bulletins. There are a total of 3 bulletins this month, covering Microsoft Windows, Microsoft DNS Server, and Microsoft WINS Server. Only one 'Critical' vulnerability is included: (MS09-006) Microsoft Windows Kernel Input Validation Vulnerability (958690). This vulnerability is described in CVE-2009-0081, and carries a potential impact of remote code execution.

Critical

Severe
An unpatched or recently patched vulnerability can be exploited by a worm, and systems worldwide are at risk to be targeted by a particular worm. No worm activity has been identified.
